GloCoat Conditioning Dog Shampoo, 1-Gallon

We love the smell of this dog shampoo. It works well for our doodle. It leaves his fur soft and smelling great!

I have a 5 month old hound mix puppy (hounds STINK) who LOVES to run around outside and get super stinky and gross. We have chickens and live in the woods so there is always plenty of stinky stuff to roll in. He goes to work with me every day and even just being outside for less than 5 minutes in the Texas summer heat leaves him smelling TERRIBLE. His bed is under my desk and the aroma wafts off of him all day, making my office smell like a dog. I have bought all manner of deodorizing shampoo and sprays, but the next time he goes outside, he smells like the ultimate stank booty with a little bit of clean mixed in. Like a scented garbage bag full of rotten trash.We have a do-it-yourself dog wash in our small town, and the last time he got caked in mud and chicken poop, I took him to the dog wash for a bath. They have some sort of deodorizer there, and while it works and smells great long term, it smells like straight up chemicals when you put it on the dog. It is also quite expensive. So that put me on the hunt for a groomer quality shampoo that I could use at home and save some money.I read SO many reviews and kept seeing people say "I'm going back to Top Performance" in many of the reviews I read on other shampoos. Some were from groomers, some from owners. So I decided to give it a shot. I could not be more pleased! I am getting the same results with this shampoo as I am the high priced dog wash with their nasty chemical smelling deodorizer, and I can do it myself at home! When we go outside, there is no more "hot dog" smell when he comes back in, and it has left his coat with a very soft fragrance, it is not over powering at all, but if you smell his coat is smells fresh and clean! This scent (cherry almond) takes me back to the days when my mom used to lather herself in Jergens, which always smelled so so good to me. I saw some people say the scent was overpowering, but I think its light and fresh.My office now smells SO much better. My puppy smells SO much better. My car smells SO much better. I really do love this stuff. PLUS it has made his coat unbelievably SOFT. Since he has such a short coat, I was not really worried about it detangling or anything like that, so I can't speak on its effectiveness in that aspect, but for the purpose of keeping my puppy smelling fresh for days after his bath it gets a full 5 stars!

This shampoo was purchased for my 2 year old Shichon pup who has more of a softer Shih-Tzu type hair than a curly Bichon coat. She gets professionally groomed every 8 weeks, so this is just for those in between baths. I chose not to use it full strength as it’s a professional product. I bought a 2-pkg of cheapo condiment squeeze bottles from the dollar store and mixed up two batches of 30oz of lukewarm water to 2 oz of this shampoo. Both were used to wash her 12 lb fluffy self. Despite being diluted, the shampoo lathered well and rinsed out with ease. She then got a blow dry and brush out and let me tell you - she smells terrific and her hair is wonderfully soft. The jury is still out with how long the scent will last in her hair but I don’t expect miracles since she IS a dog so is walked on pavement and in grasses (germs) and does go out in the rain (yuck). But immediately after her bath . A+++. I do recommend diluting this since full strength will not be economical and may be too harsh.

I've used GloCoat for years. It is made for professional groomers. I've been a DIY groomer for over 10 yearsIt has a pleasant scent that is Not over powering but it will last 2 - 3 days.Your pets coat will be very soft and clean.The major advantage to this shampoo is that it works for many different types of coats.It contains a very good conditioner so it is also a time saver. If you blow out the dogs coat after bathing it works great to detangle the hair. That means detangle not de-mat or de-knot.It will not make the coat sticky or gooey or dried out., just soft clean and fluffy.It is also economical. Understand that the 15:1 ratio mixing is meant for proportioning systems. I use it in my proportioning sprayer at 15 to 1 and it works great to initially spray down the dog. I also have a small pint bottle that is mixed four to one to squirt on areas that need a little more lathering.It rinses very easily.All in all when mixed properly (4 to 1) it is very economical for such a high quality shampoo

This works really well. It has a nice scent but doesn't linger as long as some other shampoos I have used. It is a shampoo concentrate so you have to dilute it 15:1 which is great because it will last a long time for this small bottle! Great for non-professional groomers or pet owners who want that fresh from the groomer scent in between visits!

I have tried so many shampoos on my Pomeranians and their double coats that promised moisturizing, conditioning & detangling but obviously I was still searching when I came across this shampoo. Wow! This shampoo smells incredible! What was really surprising and appreciated was how it actually moisturized my dog’s coats and detangled their hair. I can’t believe how soft their hair is. I’m not sure how I haven’t found this in the last 20 years but I’m so glad I finally did. I also purchased the spritz that goes with this shampoo. It works really well too and smells just as good. If you’ve been searching for a conditioning shampoo for your dog this is the one. My little rescue terrier appreciates being pampered and he smells wonderful too.

I love this dog shampoo/conditioner! It leaves my dogs coat so soft and manageable. The cherry almond smell is simply amazing and does not have that strong perfume smell that other products have. It is a fresh clean smell and helps repel dirt from sticking to her coat. I do also have the glo-coat detangler but it hasn’t been necessary with the shampoo/conditioner. I will always buy this product to use for my dog’s bath. It leaves her coat so soft. It is also manufactured in the USA 🇺🇸 which is important to me. 🐾

The shampoo was really nice. By dogs hair smelled and felt really nice after his bath. But I couldn't give this 5 stars because of the shipping. They sent it in a shipping bag so when it arrived the cap was all broken along with the seal inside the cap. Their was soap leaked all in the bag also.

This is by far the best dog shampoo I have ever used! The smell is amazing, and lasts a really long time. I took my farm dog to the groomers and she smelled so good for a couple of weeks. I contacted my groomer to find out what she used. It was out of stock for a couple months, but was so worth the wait! I 100% recommend it.

I don’t think I can ever live without this shampoo now. It has spoiled every other shampoo out there. I own a busy grooming shop and groom dozens of doodles, bichons, havanese, poodles etc whose coats greatly benefit from this beautiful conditioning shampoo. It suds up so nicely and leaves them squeaky clean and detangled. And it smells so lovely, I’d drink it if I didn’t know better

This is amazing! Trumps any other shampoo I've ever used on my OES....she is so clean looking!.. And it smells really good too.
