I recently received this "Toes Home Fuzzy Socks Men with Grips, Winter Fluffy Slipper Socks Hospital Cozy Warm Non-slip Thick 5 Pairs" and I subsequently experienced a range of emotions.1st: EXCITEMENT - "Woo, my thick, fluffy winter socks are here!"The package was neatly bundled and would be ok to gift wrap. It's not super decorative or in a "giftable" package, necessarily, but it's not just a product inside a random plastic bag, either. :)2nd: DISAPPOINTMENT - "Aww, these thick, fluffy, winter socks aren't as thick and fluffy as I hoped."Once they were "unbundled," it became more obvious how thick (or thin) the socks actually are. I was not excited - they felt very thin, almost as if someone had turned "dress socks" into "fluffy winter socks" somehow. I was skeptical, but tried on a pair anyway.3rd: BEWILDERMENT - "How can these feel so thin and so fluffy at the same time?"If I put my hand inside one of these socks, they seem very, very thin - like hosiery. But they aren't THAT thin. When I put them on my feet, they feel like socks - not "super fluffy fuzzy socks," but socks. When I walk in these, I can feel the little rubber grips, but I can also feel the floor, so it's a bit weird. The only socks I've had with anti-skid built in were actually much thicker (legitimately "fuzzy" socks) and while I could feel the grips, I could NOT feel the floor at the same time. That's the only thing about these, really, that bothers me - that they're as thin as they are AND have the grips. For me it's kind of an either/or situation. I'm fine with the grips, but the socks need to be thicker. And I'd be fine without the grips with the socks at their current thickness.4th: COMFORT - "Did I moisturize my feet earlier? I want a nap."These socks are much cozier than I originally gave them credit for being (or even for having the potential to be). I wore three pairs of them over the course of the weekend, and not because it was slightly chilly overnight. I wore them because they are truly comfortable.5th: LOYALTY - "These are my new favorite lounge socks."These are the now the socks I wear to lounge around the house and I will fight you if you try to take them from me. When I ordered these, I fully intended them to become my version of house slippers. And that's exactly what they have become.Happy to recommend.

These are a really good value! The colors I received were exactly as shown in the listing. The pack of socks comes vacuum-sealed; they don't look very good right out of the bag but if you open them and let them sit for a little bit they fluff up nicely and look much better. They did shed a few tiny fuzzballs right out of the package but have not shed anything since. Some fuzzy materials sheds really bad, but these seem to be doing very well. The material is very soft and cozy. My wife and I have been fighting over who gets to wear them.They aren't super-super thick, but aren't thin either- a nice medium weight. I would not recommend wearing them with shoes because of the grippy pebbles on the bottom, but they're great around the house when it's cold out.Since so many come in a pack and I don't wear socks around the house every day, I have not had a chance to wash these yet but I will update my review if anything changes when I wash them.My feet tend to sweat a lot regardless of how warm or cold I am and I'm always worried about how breathable my socks are- after hours and hours of wearing these, they're still dry and breathable and I'm very pleased.Highly recommend!
