6" EZ Read Rigid Rule Made in USA! 4R Graduation

Been looking for a 6” steel rule that was easy to read and just had the traditional markings, all the extra numbers on the fractional sizes drive me nuts. This scale did not disappoint. Working in a machine shop that seems to always cast a shadow in the worst spot, the black and white contrast makes it easy to see. I use this scale a lot and wish I would have bought one sooner.

I bought this for woodworking. I know it is a machinist ruler and I knew it was only 6 inches. But i read 8ths and 16ths which was all about I needed. In the product description, it said it was etched, and then painted for accuracy. I like to use a marking knife for measurements. I would run my knife in the notch, and transfer to the wood. Well... not with this ruler.Now as a machinists ruler? I am sure this is a decent ruler. However, I don't know how you expect to mark something measuring at a 64th? But it is accurate, and it starts at the edge of the ruler. It's small, probably will be easy to lose, but will do it's job.Anyways.

This is a beautiful product, a pleasure to use. The markings are crystal clear. Best of all, there is absolutely no glare.

This is a high quality ruler. It is easy to read with the white on black markings. It's made of steel so the corners don't round off quickly. The numbers and lines are etched in so they won't rub off like printed ones. Also, no metric and no machinists numbers, just divisions of: 8 ths, 16 ths, 32 nds and 64 ths. Well worth the money. Don't buy a $3 ruler that doesn't last.

Easy to read....good contract between scale color and gradations. Durable metal and American made.
