Arrived in time, on first impression a bit disappointed as its basically a shaggy rug with thick fleece bits. No pockets to hide treats... BUT... Tested by my dogs, it's a success. Treat hiding is easy done by knotting the fleece bits together or down. The mat has a plastic grit, which is gives it good stability against being carried away or pushed along or flipped over. The grid gives also hiding spots for small treats, for the advanced sniffer. My older whippet loved it soo much he fell asleep on it after sniffing out the treats, it's super soft. My younger dogs loved it too, whippets, salukis and staffies alike. I personally like that it can be extended via the grid below. Fantastic item, somebody put someone doggy thought into it, definitely recommend, will buy more. Ps my young whippet managed to carry it up the stairs so he can enjoy in peace.

The media could not be loaded.  I brought this as a Christmas present so 4 months down the line and as you can see from the video still one of Shiro’s favourites and it good condition despite many uses. Great addition to his many puzzle toys as always looking for something a bit different to challenge him with.

I bought this to keep my little dog occupied whilst I am working. It works well and she loves hunting for treats. The only problem is that it takes her 5 mins to find them all - so not a long term distraction. But great watching her have fun!

As most dog owners will know, it's hard sometimes to find a product that can keep our pups busy. This does just that.A few hidden treats deep in the mat and the dogs are busy for ages, sniffing around, trying to find the treaty goodness.Would definitely recommend this product as it is incredibly durable and the dogs never seem to get bored with it.

I was a little concerned from other reviews that this might not be substantial enough to cope with a greyhound’s attention, but it definitely is! Great, adult dog can easily use it, you can teach old dog new tricks, she found easy to use from 1st day. If you wanted to create a larger search area you can buy multiples and click together to make one big snuffle mat.

These snuffle mats are so excellent for dogs. My standard poodle loves searching for his kibble buried deep inside. It amazes me how good he is at this already but he loves doing it over and over.This is not a toy that gets left out ...or it may get destroyed. Snuffle mats are meant to be used under your supervision with the specific intended use of scent search for food.This mat is well constructed and has long, deep, tight woven felt strip hiding spots.

Great toy and brain excercise for puppies. Easy to clean in washer. Small treats and small kibble can fall through bottom. I suggest breaking treats into pieces about 1/2 inch size.

Ma chienne est croisée Labrador/Jack Russell, elle a l'instinct de chasse et un odorat très développé.Elle s'ennuyait, était frustrée, elle détruisait et faisait beaucoup de bêtises, elle avait besoin d'une activité. Étant handicapée, je ne peux pas la promener dehors. J'ai un grand terrain mais il n'y a pas grand chose de distrayant.Quand j'ai vu le tapis de fouille, qui promettait que ça demandait autant d'énergie qu'une demi-heure de promenade, je n'y ai pas cru. Mais en désespoir de cause, je me suis dit : "autant essayer !"Et ça marche ! C'est incroyable !Je mets une trentaine de tous petits morceaux de friandises tout au fond du tapis, entre les lamelles de feutre. Elle y passe une quinzaine de minutes et après, elle dort !Je ne l'utilise pas tous les jours, j'adapte la fréquence selon son comportement et les stimulations du jour.
