Camphor Oil?
It is supposed to be pure Camphor oil and maybe it is. However the smell was not the same as the inside of my Champhor wood chest purchased in Malaysia in the sixties. This is a very medicinal smell which reminds me very muck of Vick vapour which I believe contains Camphor oil. My Champor chest is a far more more subtle smell. The difference may be due to freshness. I had restored my chest and wanted to use the oil to refresh the wood inside the chest. I used very little as it was quite overwhelming inside the chest. I am now waiting to see what effect it has on the woodwork and whether the smell becomes muted with time.

Fades quickly
Really unusual for an essential oil smell to fade so quickly. Plus it has a foul after-note - can’t quite put my finger on it.Poor longevity so I don’t recommend
