Downtown Pet Supply Bully Sticks for Dogs, Junior Size (6", 12-Pack) Rawhide Free Dog Chews Long Lasting Non-Splintering Pizzle Sticks - Low Odor Bully Sticks for Small Dogs

Received these today. There were no 12" sticks but that is not the main issue. The bigger problem is that some are the thickness of a wood skewer. Very thin and last just a few minutes. I have a small dog and she finished this like she would a biscuit. The photo is misleading. There is a reason that they are so much less expensive than other brands. Don't get me wrong, my dog enjoyed it, but if you are looking for a bully stick that will occupy your pup for a bit, buy the more expensive brands.

We bought 6”, 10 sticks last month. Our dog loved this. Bully sticks are great for my anxious dog for him to chew and play with the bully sticks. Also, bully sticks are great way to get rid of plaque on teeth. So I decided to buy more of this company’s 6”,12”, 30 bully sticks. However, it came open and had no label with in poor condition. They were stinky and I could tell the bully sticks weren’t great. So I had to return them.—-update: 07/08/2018I realized that they were all 6”?! I ordered 6,12” inches however they came in the same size. What a let down.

My bag also had bugs- still alive at that...not sure if they were eggs that hatched but either way, I would NOT suggest them for anyone. I've attached a video. I think in my 20 count bag there were 4-5 bugs and in all I counted 3 different types of bugs. But I didn't fully inspect the ones I gave my dogs already. I'm annoyed my brother wasted money as a nice gift and I Thankfully my dogs didn't get sick if they had eaten any.Original review: I had bought these on an Amazon Lightning deal. I bought the smaller package the 20 count. Well my brother bought the 40 count during the same deal for my dogs. I thought they were decent at first but the bulk bag had red bugs in them. Freaked me out. The one still alive was hanging on my bed. I didn't want my dog getting it so I couldn't get a pic. I pulled another one out that was hallow and another bug but dead inside. I'm in MN and I've never seen this bug before but it was enough to know my dogs won't finish this package.

Ok, I get it -- dog treats never smell great... but I've been buying bully sticks for my dogs for 15 years and NEVER have they smelled like this. I thought for sure my dogs had pooped or thrown up somewhere, or maybe that they had somehow brought in cat poop. I had no idea what it was... then I realized the smell was coming from these sticks. Absolutely foul. The dogs do love them still, but they can only use these in their room now and even then the smell still permeates the house. I won't give them anymore of these... I feel like there has to be something wrong with them to smell like this.

I purchased Bully sticks for years and have never had any of them smell AWFUL like these one did! Literally, I was gagging BEFORE I got the package open! What IS that?! The sticks are a lot smaller than expected. I gave 3 stars only because, in spite of awful smell, my dogs like them. I'll shop elsewhere next time!

I've gotten bully sticks from multiple sources. My prior bag of bully sticks from Downtown Pet Supply was great: low odor, good quality. But lately their quality seems to be declining. These particular bully sticks smell something terrible. Like the smell of an infection. Gross! I don't buy particular brands specifically because of that smell, and I guess this brand will be added to the list. Three stars because the dogs still love them, no matter the stink!

It's a little more expensive than other bully sticks I got from a Pet Store near me, but the fact that you can choose a specific size is worth the extra money. The other bully sticks would go to waste/donated to a shelter because they wound up being too big for my dog.I repacked the bully sticks into another bag because when we got them the plastic was already open and falling into the cat litter boxes that were packed with them. Part of the tape of the box was seemingly ripped so it was possibly tampering and not the sellers/shipping fault? Who knows really. It seems like it as packed to try to avoid damage or ripping, but it is what happened.

This package & these chews are much smaller than anticipated. Also, 3x the price (per unit weight,) of Costco's offering. (The package of 12 x 6" sticks contains 2.8 oz. of product.)

Doggo likes them, but they are very very very thin. My 60 lb dog ate one in approximately 3 minutes. Made for small dogs. Only about 5 out of the 25 are thicker than a pencil. Read details closely, they say thin but I have never seen bulky stock this thin. On the upside they don’t stink at all
