I first heard Jay O'Callahan's stories when I borrowed his cassette tapes from the local library, about 25 years ago. I have purchased the CDs as gifts for relatives and friends. And now I am purchasing them for my four year old granddaughter.Jay O'Callahan is a well-known, master storyteller. His voice, characterizations and tales are intelligent, imaginative, positive and gentle. This CD is my second favorite, after "Little Heroes". The stories are perfect for car rides because they are so engaging. Children actually LISTEN to them! My granddaughter asks for them often.You can take your child to museums, plays, shows and playgrounds. Those are all wonderful. But consider enriching their quet, internal world, their inner mind, with these stories. You will not regret it.

We just played Earth Stories for the third generation children in our family and these children were equally as delighted as when we heard them for the first time. Indeed, the grownups enjoyed them as much as the children did! Highly recommended - and not just for children!

My children grew up listening to these stories, and I bought this for my first grand daughter. Jay is such a captivating story teller. I could listen to these stories over and over. My 30 year old son was Sooooo excited to get this for his new little girl.

I grew up listening to these stories so I ordered them for my son. He loves them as much as I did, and as an adult I realize how funny and smart they are. They're not painful to listen to on repeat like some other kids stories!

My kids grew up listening to this on cassette tape so I just had to search for it now that I have grandchildren at the perfect listening age. They love it!

All 4 of my kids loved listening to this CD (well, it was on tape back then....) almost every night to help them fall asleep. It is only as young adults that they have finally heard the end of the story!. Mr. O'Calahan's lilting voice and lovely storytelling is a must for your tired angels....
