Does what it says on the tin
Bought to remove a tick for a pooch we were looking after. Did the trick and there is a good selection of tools, including a magnifying glass.I would recommend.

Every tick removal tool you could need
This is a very comprehensive little kit to deal with unwanted tick bites. The advert says this is suitable for pets however I bought tick removal tools for humans in the past and they are identical to the plastic tools included here.I've going to give the kit four stars. it would have been an easy five stars however there are no instructions supplied, at all, and tick removal is a) not always easy and b) important to get right first time as it is easy to take the head off a tick, leaving the head still attacked to the skin, and still putting enzymes into the skin, which could contain disease, so you'd think a comprehensive kit like this would at least try to show you how it's done.Luckily there are lots of videos online outlining how to to use most of these tools. The four plastic 'hooks, plus the stainless steel hook of a similar design are classic tick removal tools. You must get close to, indeed all the way under, the tick using this tool, and then pull it all up and out at a 90 degree angle to the skin.I was intrigued by the plastic tweezer-style attachment, that is supposed to mechanically remove the tick in a pincer movement. Again, it's all about trying to keep the whole tick together. If you do discover a tick you should removed it in one piece, A tick removed within the first 12-24 hours should not have had time to do you or your pet harm. If you go on to have a trademark 'bullseye rash develop , anywhere between a few days later and moving into months, you should go to your doctor who will prescribe a 21 day course of antibiotics. You will be able to get a reasonably reliable blood test approx 4 weeks after initial exposure. Ticks are now endemic across the UK and there is a strict NHS protocol on place for those who ar worried they've been bitten. For small animals, the maker has also included a strong, metal-tined comb, in case there are any bugs hanging onto the fur. Since newly attached ticks can be tiny (ticks which have been feeding a while are bigger) there is a helpful little plastic magnifier, and a pair of pointy tweezers. All of it comes in a plastic case the size of a spectacles case. Its a great kit, substantial and well thought out.To be honest we should get into the habit of covering legs in tall grasses doing a tick check on the evening after your activity. Its a bit of a faff but honestly the 'cure' takes is much more inconvenient, and far harder to resolve.

Decent set, well priced, I would hapilly recommend it.
I ordered HRLORK 8 x Tick Remover Tool Sets, as my dog, despite being on a tick prevention treatment, brings one home from time to time. They are nicely organised in the plastic storage case.I have used one of the light blue tools so far, and it made removing a large tick fast and easy.It is a generous and very useful set. All of the tools included feel of decent quality. The measurements are exactly as per the listing description. The magnifier is a great addition to this set. It's a decent set, reasonably priced, and worth having just in case.
