Insane...
I can't believe how comfortable these are. My wife bought the V13 version while we were traveling and we spent an entire day searching for a pair for myself. They're THAT comfortable. Walking feels fun for the first time ever. For reference I'm coming from a 6 year old pair of Nikes, and my wife previously wore a pair of Eccos. The fit is pretty much spot on for the size.Quality is good but not amazing. I don't see these lasting long if you're hiking on trails all the time. The support is decent. Not a ton of stability, but still fine. The black on black color looks great!

Simply the most comfortable shoe I've ever had
The design and materials of construction are top shelf. The fit is incredibly good and the support for arch and heel is without comparison. Light and durable. I do 30 to 35 miles per week of walking, on mostly asphalt and these shoes last at least 6 months. This is my third pair of 1080's.

4E seems a bit small?
Inner Toebox area was too tight for me. 4E width a little narrow it feels. Could be just me. The height was too short, hurting the top of my feet by the toe bones. I really wanted to like this shoe, but the mushiness was too much also.Went with Asics Nimbus 25, which felt a little more roomier. And was slightly roomier than the 26. Both are fairly soft foamy but not squishy like the 1080v14Disclaimer: I'm not a runner. I need comfortable extra wide sneakers for delivery work and other walking occasions.

WONDERFUL FOR RUNNING!
As soon as I put these shoes in the store I got goosebumps! Oooo, they felt so good and they still do three weeks later! In fact they felt SO good that I bought a white pair so that here in TX my feet would not get as hot as they do in the black pair. They are so light and “fluffy”that I almost make up excuses to run! I WANT MORE OF THESE SHOES! 🥰

Every generation of 1080 is designed to fail faster
I have been a 1080 wearer for over 10 years now. It is all I wear, exclusively. I've barely had these 2 weeks and have NOT used them for my workouts yet, only casual use such as walking the dog, and the front treads are already eroding fast. This seems like a scam where New Balance makes the shoes in a way where they wear down fast in the front and you're forced to replace them. I don't remember this happening on V7 or V8 or earlier. It's each generation, they seem to get more aggressive with making this front tread thinner and thinner. So do I recommend the shoe? Well I love the form and shape, which is why I stick with 1080. It's certainly not because of the tread. In retrospect, even though they look better than older shoes, if you want them to last, you'd probably be better off buying the V12 or earlier. Some are still for sale online. The V13 is as bad as the V14. I buy several pairs of each generation so plenty of experience with them, like I said it's the only shoe I wear.

Most comfortable shoes available
I've tried them all, Brooks Glycerin, Saucony Triumph, and Hoka Bondi. The 1080 is by far the best. I've owned probably 6 pairs.

Runs TIGHT in the toe box
Definitely size up or widen to EE or 4E if you have even the slightest thought in mind
