Easy to apply, not sticky
It goes on smoothly. The product doesn't have a strong smell & didn't leave your hands sticky. I did apply some on the face and haven't gotten any complaints from the kiddos that it stings their eye.

Not for babies - painful when it gets in their eyes
Put it on my 1 year old and got in her eyes. She cried for 30 minutes. Don’t use on babies.

comparable to name brand...even in price
Mountain Falls baby sunscreen uses the same chemicals as their adult brand so the subtle difference is in the inactive ingredients. The active ingredients are basically all the chemicals which means you aren’t going to get burnt. But whether it’s good for your skin is probably still up in the air. We had no sensitivities to it occur with any of the children. It is slightly thicker than the regular Mountain Falls sunscreen which makes it easier to keep from getting in their eyes, etc. It appeared to be quickly absorbed so I thought was good. However, even without sweating my son’s eyes quickly became puffy and red so I am not sure if he did get water on him and it dripped or if his eyes were that sensitive to it.All the kids over 2 years old did fine with it though. We spent the entire day on the boat and those that used this sunscreen did not burn. Some used another brand and that seemed to wear off a lot faster than the Mountain Falls did.All in all I’d say it is comparable to the name brand but so is the price so I’m really not seeing any advantage to ordering this vs grabbing something at the store.

The short of it is that the Mountain Falls sunscreen for babies goes on easy and absorbs quickly and doesn’t cause irritation
After receiving this sunscreen lotion for babies, I started reading up a bit about sunscreen and how it works. I’m not going to give a sunscreen lesson and lecture. But I found, as is the case for many things these days, there’s inconclusive evidence of safe vs. hazardous… Having said that, I would hope that products made for humans especially babies are scrutinized for their safety as the long-term effects could immensely be detrimental!!! So, I’ll only say that for the most part, sunscreen products contain the same chemical ingredients that could potentially be unsafe! Other products out there, claimed to be ‘safer’, would contain more of a mineral sunscreen protectant. The short of it is that the Mountain Falls sunscreen for babies goes on easy and absorbs quickly and doesn’t cause irritation, redness and/or rash. It doesn’t go on dry and flaky. It also doesn’t irritate the eyes. The scent is light and acceptable. Use as directed though – apply at least every 2 hours and more often if in and out of the water… 4 stars because if it can be made from (known) safer ingredients, than that’s what it should be made from.

The sunscreen goes on very easy and is quickly absorbed
The baby sunscreen is a very close copy of the Coppertone version. The smell is pure Coppertone only that the baby version is much lighter scented. The sunscreen goes on very easy and is quickly absorbed. The sunscreen was not sticky and remained even when wet. So why the okay mark? I prefer to use mineral sunscreens that use zinc oxide over the ones that have avobenzone and oxybenzone in it. Oxybenzone is a hormone disrupter and that's not what you want to put on a growing child. Your child is better off with Aveeno baby sunscreen SPF 50.

Great sunscreen, but little dry.
I have been using this product for the last weeks as here in NY is been very hot and humid so definitely have been applying some sunscreen on my toddler. Te first application stays on for about an hour, if you get wet it will protect for maybe little more, but read instructions on how many times to apply it. Usually two applications should work during and after pool time or walk outside. My only concern of this sunscreen was is a little dry to the skin. There are other brands that I have use and it stays very smooth on the skin, not oily nor dry. This one looks dry but it does the job in protection.
