I am a remote worker and remote teacher, so I participate in many videoconference and video sessions. Great lighting is essential. I have ring lights, but I don't like the ring reflections in my glasses. The great thing about this lighting kit is the adjustable height and angle of the light, so you can light up your face without the light head reflecting in your glasses. You get three different light colors (warm, white, medium) and several different levels of intensity.You have to do some assembly, but it was pretty easy: screw the long neck into the base, screw the lighting head onto the telescoping pole, and you're done.The only thing to be aware of is that there is no power supply. This is not a problem for me because I just plug it into the USB port of my laptop. I prefer this to a power supply because this makes the lighting kit an ultra-portable solution where you can have great lighting anywhere.Finally, you get TWO of these. You can use one for forward lighting and another for side lighting, although I just use one most of the time.Anyway, AWESOME desktop lighting kit. I'd get this over a ring light ANY day.Super-Highly recommended.

For $25 This is probably fine. However i can't really use it easily for even desktop photography easily. The slot for the color inserts are not very well made so you can't easily insert the filters. The lights work okay so for some beginners it may be worth it but I feel if you need 2 lights you can get something for far cheaper of the same quality.

The media could not be loaded. I ordered this set of two lights with accompanying filters, and I think they are excellent for their price point. The lights are surprisingly bright, making them a fantastic choice for video or photo shoots for a small-scale projects or a hobby. I don't believe hey’re designed for professional photographers they are perfect for simpler needs.I also like different filters options, However, one minor drawback is that the filter-changing process isn’t entirely smooth. It can feel a little stiff at times, but it’s not a significant issue and doesn’t effect much from the overall experience.The quality of the lights is solid, and they feel well-made for the price. If you’re looking for an affordable lighting solution for casual projects, this is a fantastic option to consider.

These will be okay for closely photographing small items, facial lighting for videos, etc. I like the base's smaller footprint compared to tripod styles, and the adjustable color temperature and brightness work well. However, the fittings feel pretty cheap overall. You may need a Philips screwdriver to tighten the joint where the light head meets the stand—a better design might have placed a knob there. The included instructions are laughably incomplete, and nothing in the description shows how to attach the colored filters. I finally figured out that you can slide them in behind the light's front panel on one side; but it's sometimes a struggle, so I doubt the filters will hold up under heavy use.Cheap and useful, but not great.

For how small these lights are they really do brighten up a room very well I didn’t have any issues getting them hooked up or working. It was super easy. They are just as pictured and described.
