Hidden Blessings

It has been such a roller-coaster of emotional feelings. Although I didn't read this book first ( I should have). I was still able to walk in it all and get to know everything firsthand. Hidden Blessings blessed me, it was just as deep as the other books I read said it was, I wanted the story to be longer, but because of Kendra's suffering I'm glad her complete joy was made eternal. It truly is a great love story and so much more. Kim Cash Tate you did an awesome job of making a book all about God and our Lord Jesus and how He deals with us in our day to day life while teaching us how to serve him day to day.

I happened to read a few more books from this author and admired them and just kept reading and without a doubt in my mind these books have opened my eyes to see, my heart to understand that no matter what one goes through in life there is always a reason for it. If we would just understand that God's plans for our lives is not always what we have in mind, but, in most cases it's more complicated than we would think, but all for His glory, then we could possible say well God knows best.If you want an excellent read, feel free to get this book, but be prepared to never be the same again and grab your tissues as at some point you're going to need them. I gave five stars, wish it could have been more like 10.

This book was awesome,I love all of Kim’s books. This one hit so close to home for me. I am a breast cancer survivor. Reading this story brought up so many memories for me. I started thanking God all over again for bringing me through the most painful time of my life. Not just me but my family as well. I recommend this book for everyone! It will cause you to think and see time differently. So many times we either live in the past or the future neglecting the present. I loved it!

This is an awesome story line; Kim is an awesome storyteller. She keeps it “classy”’and it points you back to God. It encourages me every time. Though I read other of her books sort of out of order, I’m going back to reread them, lol, because it just makes sense at this point. I said I’m making a gift list of all her books and want people to by me books for Christmas, lol. Thanks Kim! #killedit🔥

Whenever I open the pages of a Kim Cash Tate book, I always expect to be moved from my comfortable perch in my relationship with God to a deeper understanding of who He is and how present He is in my life. And with this book, I again was invited to understand God more fully through these very real characters and their circumstances.To start, I have lived on this earth a good long while, and never in all my years have I opened a book, sat down, and read it cover to cover in one sitting. Again I say, never. The journey we are taken on through the life of the main character, Kendra, left me yearning to finish her story, to see how God would move in her life and the lives of those around her. What I always love about Kim’s books is that they so deftly apply God’s principles to real life situations, even when there doesn’t appear to be a neat and tidy answer. Her stories acknowledge that sometimes we won’t have the answers, or understand God’s plan, but that we can always trust that His ways are for our good. And that they showcase relatable characters who are flawed and lost, like we all are, as is found here in this rich and heartwarming story of family and community.This book left me feeling so many different emotions that I have marinated on for many days. This is a story that will stay with me for quite some time. And what will remain foremost in my mind is a line that felled me like a kick in the gut, something I resolutely proclaimed for my own life many years ago, and now causes me to examine my path. That life is not meant to be ordinary. Indeed that we are called to live outside the box. This beautiful story is one that compels us all to be more intentional. To squeeze all that we can out of this life that God has given us, for His purpose and thereby our ultimate good. To be grateful and to trust Him in and for all things, even when it may not make sense to us in the natural. To know that He is always there, listening, caring and speaking to us, as He has through His gifted daughter Ms. Kim Cash Tate.

I have been a fan of Kim Cash Tate’s work since Heavenly Places. The underlying storyline in Hidden Blessings is shocking and may cause readers to initially feel a sense of hopelessness and despair. Yet, readers will soon be reminded that no matter how dire the circumstances may appear on the surface, every cloud has a silver lining and with every season of despair and adversity, there is also a hidden blessing. Excellent and inspiring read!

I really loved this novel. Beautifully written, very touching. It's Christian, but not at all preachy, whilst dealing with very real issues like: how do you trust in God when you're 30s and diagnosed with terminal breast cancer? or in prison for something that someone else walked you into, or facing being gay, or your family's breakdown? Also - love. This author tells of a love that truly captures the heart. I loved it.

Read via Kindle. 3.75 stars.This was my first book by this author.Cancer is not an easy subject for anyone, especially when you’ve lost loved ones to it. This was definitely a journey for Kendra but what beauty evolved from such a difficult time. God can do so much good even through the darkest times.I shed some tears at the very real issues that Kendra endured physically, emotionally, and psychologically. The beauty of her journey, however, was inspirational.

What an amazing story. So emotional for me, I bawled my eyes out and more importantly I heard the Holy Spirit speak to me while reading this.Such a beautiful love Lance and Kendra had and filled us teaching about God's blessings and how God's plan may not make sense to us at first but it is always better than you can imagine. He is always intentional and merciful.This is the first book I've read from this author and I am off to find more from her. May God continue to guide her and use her to entertain while edifying her readers.

This book will definitely remind you to never take life and those you love for granted. Awesome read
