This is a beautiful short story about love, family, acceptance, and empathy. A blended family (Babs and a new cat) learns how each one is feeling coming into this new home. Then, shows how Babs begins to really understand and welcome the new cat instead of resenting her. The book is beautifully written. A must read for all- parents and children alike.

This book was a great read . Easy to digest in the mind. This can be very helpful for kids trying to explore the new life of being in a blended family. The cats are cute.
