5 star review based on value for money. It actually does a lot for the money. It does have a "toy" feel honestly... BUT... I Love It! Its very functional in my Tiny Home Studio. Velocity Sensitive, 8 total controllers... and and and. Not a fan of the Mod and Pitch sliders for my Every Day Choice on controls... but again... I have found some very cool and useful sounds using them that you cannot recreate on wheel based controls. Size is perfect for me since I have a compact mobile lifestyle. On a budget? Need a mini studio controller on the cheap? This is it! Based on its size and controls and pads alone, I would never get rid of it. Its the perfect little Bass line rig for a multi keyboard setup, or even a standalone with a laptop. I only have ONE complaint, and its honestly nit picky for the price, but, I do not like the tiny little, non industry standard, sustain pedal jack... but I am old and cranky. :) Enjoy!

Better off with Akai!!
Used it for less than a month and a key broke off. Not even glue could've fixed it. Also it was very poor quality, and didn't work at all. Lighter than a book tells more than meets the eye. Other than the modulator, it's a genuinely terrible product. I feel bad for myself for buying this thinking I was getting a cheaper, but still good quality midi. 1/5 which sucks cause the STARRYPAD is so good. I'm not dissing Donner, however I am HEAVILY dissing this product.
