Eat Your Guru is an experimental electronic, trance, dance, World fusion project, featuring Didgeridoo Hang Drum and overtone singing by Andy Duroe. This is a culmination of many years, playing and mixing cultural music, in projects from meditative ambient concerts to live pumping Goa dance parties. Andy's music has been featured on millions of compilation CD's with bands like Groove Armada, The Orb and Royksopp. The album also features a remix from the track Mono Desire written by Manu Delago, world famous hang player. Many thanks to Manu for giving permission to release the track.

hang drum music
Very interesting combination of instruments. i i wasnt very sure until i listened to part of this on youtube . i love it they are two very special instruments and not for everyone. i find the combo very relaxing

Very, very, very repetitive, poorly mixed
Some interesting Didgerido work. Hang is often hard to find. Very, very, very repetitive. The background rhythm tracks often overwhelm whatever melody line might exist. Rhythm tracks resemble those programmed into an inexpensive synthesizer. Strange mix from nature sounds to disco synthesizer sounds. Long lead ins leave the listener mumbling under their breath, "Just get on with it!" It sounds like background music to movie scenes of a strange nature. If you are looking for Hang, I recommend Banyan by the Hang Drum Project.

The Didgeridoo has always been a favorite of mine. The combination of the two is exceptional. It is wonderful stuff.

Tolle Musik um Runterzukommen!!
Eine ausgezeichnete Kombination von Musikinstrumenten. Die Hand Pan Musik in dieser CD lässt dich schnell runterkommen und es ist sehr beruhigend. Ich werde mir noch weitere anschaffen.

まずディジュリドゥvsハングドラムというタイトルですが、様々な楽器とサンプリングでダンス・クラブミュージックになっています。ハングの美しく不思議な雰囲気とディジュリドゥの怪しい響きを生かしたサウンドは、部屋をガラリと異空間に変えてくれます。ハングもディジュリドゥもまだまだマイナーな楽器で関連する音源も少ないですが、これはとても聞きやすく、ダンス・クラブ系が好きな方にもおすすめです。ただ純粋にハングとディジュリドゥの音を求めている方はちょっと予想と外れるかも?でもこの独特な世界観を持った音楽を体感してみてほしいです。
