Beginner-Friendly Quilts: Easy Projects for Rookies to Make Now!

Really have enjoyed this book. Members of my quilting group are going to order it now that they have seen the beautiful quilts. Instructions are well written and accurate so far!

Hello everyone, let me begin by saying- I loved Quilty magazine when it was still being published, and I love Mary Fons. I have most of the Quilty magazine issues, so I thought this would be a great addition to my existing collection. It clearly states in the description that this book is a collection of the 'Best of Quilty'. That is the truth, he quilt patterns are from magazine issues. This is where it gets extremely disappointing. Out of the 12 patterns, I only liked 1 of them. The others, sorry to say are just, Meh? They are certainly NOT the 'Best' of Quilty, in my opinion. I realize that each person has their own views on what they love and don't love, but I think the choices could have been better for this book. If you have most of the magazines, then do not bother purchasing this book. If I knew what the patterns were ahead of time, I would have passed on this book. Keep your old Quilty issues, cherish them and tag the patterns you love in them, and that will do you better than bothering with this book. On a positive note, this book has really pretty pictures, clear instructions and cute tips, tricks and comments from Spooly. The book is well put together, just like the magazine. I would not recommend purchasing this book. Save your money and go buy some pretty fabric. have a great day.

Fantastic book, good clear instructions and so many projects to do. Would certainly recommend to anyone wanting a straightforward project.

Love the quilt patterns in this book. The instructions are clear and concise.
