Freeze protection and tear resistant
I live in northern Houston and have grown lemon trees from seed several times. I purchased the first round from a nursery, which was rather proud of them according to the price charged. Before the trees have matured enough to bear fruit, we've had freezes which killed the previous ones. I tried to protect the trees with plastic bags, old sheets, and plastic drop cloths, each with no success.A friend in Houston city limits has raised lemon trees which bore fruit for several years in a pot on the patio. He told me the trees would have a better chance of surviving with this type of material, and to keep the material away from the foliage if possible. The largest of my current lemon trees is just over 5½ feet tall. I tested the fit for one of these bags on that tree and it appears it will cover the foliage fine. The zipper feature made it easy to get the bag over over the tree. One of the sharp thorns penetrated the bag, which I didn't notice until removing the bag. The thorn broke off instead of tearing the material It appears these are also tear resistant. There is plenty of room in the bag to use some tall shepherd's hooks to keep the material from contacting the foliage. The drawstring at the bottom will also keep the foliage from being impacted from beneath.I haven't been able to test these bags during a freeze or frost yet, but I'm now prepared with something better than what I was using before. Maybe next time the trees will survive the winter weather and I'll have fresh lemons instead of starting over by growing new trees from seed.

Great for my tropical plants!
I live in an area that is hot during the summer and with mild winters. It typically will not get below 30 degrees Fahrenheit overnight. However, when it does get cold, I always worry about my potted tropical plants outside. I got these for the times it does get cold enough to protect those plants. It got pretty cold the other night so I went ahead and tried these. These were great! They have zippers on the side and it made it easier to pull over my plants. In the past, I would just put a bed sheet if it got really cold. Now I don't have to worry about using my bed sheets and these can actually really protect my plants! I like that I can close off the bottom of the covers so it can keep the heat inside, ensuring that my plants stay warm even if it's cold outside. I'm so glad I got these!

Easy to put on and secure.
We don't get too many cold snaps in our area, but when we do it is not good news for our trees and bushes. These arrived just in time and I placed one over a young fig tree. I really like that these have both a zipper from the top side to the bottom allowing it to open widely around larger trees and bushes and have a drawstring at the base to cinch it in. I just unzipped it during the day and laid it around the tree so I could easily raise it and put it back over the young tree in the evening when the temperature falls. They appear to be relatively sturdy and I went up in size to allow for growth.

Works well for small and medium potted plants
Good material for protecting your outdoor potted plants from frost damage. I found that they fit over small and medium plants well but if your plant is bushy it will not fit very well which is acceptable. There is a string tie at the bottom below the zipper if you want to tighten it to the top of a pot to keep the wind from catching it. I'm using it on some medium sized potted lime trees that I keep.

As pictured and works well thus far!
I used the smallest of the trio on my young plumeria tree. It was very easy to apply and seal up. The material is nice and sturdy and I think it will be better to keep from breaking the smaller branches. The stitching seems pretty good and the zipper too. Should do well over a central Florida winter.
