Raw Walnuts (1 Pound Bag) - By Superior Nut Company

They didn't stand out as the best walnuts I've ever eaten. But ordering online is overwhelming to me sometimes, or mostly. And do the reviews help? Uhhh, well so many products, including this one, will have, terrible, and wonderful reviews, so how does that help me. I love one brand of granola, which isn't like scooping out of the lawnmower bag! haha It's got pumpkin seeds and flax. So when I add walnuts, blueberries, applejuice and some oatmilk, it's a little "recipe" that makes for a nice breakfast for me! :( But I'm here today ordering more walnuts, and I looked at a few varieties. Once again I got sad :( from reading the reviews. Then I thought, "Just order the ones you bought before on Amazon. They were good." So I'm following my own review. You can too if you like. Are they the best? Probably not at all. Worst? No. But they are good in my cereal and I don't have to read a bunch of reviews like this college dissertation on walnuts to find out. I can just keep getting them. If I get a bad lot, then maybe I'll change.

These walnuts are fine. Not the tastiest I ever had but certainly usable. I normally use organic nuts. When I got the package I realized these were raw but not organic. I emailed the seller to ask about farming practices used in raising these nuts, hoping they were a sustainable farm even if not organic. The response was, "I am not a farmer I buy from farmers. " Not terribly helpful. The seller should know what they are selling, in my opinion.I was reluctant to leave less than a 5 star rating because I also sell on Amazon and know how important ratings are. When I read other questions and answers I got the impression that the seller is not very customer oriented. So, I decided to leave this review.

The bag of Superior Nuts said: "Halves and pieces". They were all pieces and nuts were spoiled. They tasted mettalic. Impossible to eat and made we sick. The product said. "Refund or returnable" and when we tried to return it and a note said this product isn't returnable. Have purchased these nuts 12 times but from now on they will be out of our list. Amazon should not sell this product!!! The least the company can do is to give a REFUND!Josie

I ordered these for my husband as he is supposed to eat a healthier diet. The price was a bit high, but he liked them. His only comment was that the bag wasn't big enough. That's code for he wishes there were more in the bag.

i have to agree with another reviewer for this product...i compared it with the like product from Whole Foods...this is morepricey but it has a really stale smell and taste...i will definitely not order this again but i can use it for recipes in someof the dishes i prepare...i wish i had better news for the supplies because the package is quite nice !!! sorry....

These walnuts are as fresh as if you would have taken them out of the shell yourself. The taste, the texture surpassed my expectations. Will buy from Superior Nut Company again.

Four stars just because they are not as good and fresh like the nuts just right out if the shell...overwise great product, big pieces, not too staled, much better than the ones from the local store, have just placed another order for them

The package arrived on time and the walnuts tasted great! By that I mean the texture was firm and crunchy like fresh walnuts, and there were no strange smells (like packaged nuts or foods sometimes can have). They had great aroma and taste with very few discolored pieces. The resealable Ziploc bag is also a good touch.Overall I would definitely recommend this product and do plan on buying again.
