Having used this product now, for 4 months on a daily basis, I found it to be a time/space saver for quilters. It enables quilters to press without twisting the fabric using the grid on the ironing side. A word of caution though, do not use steam when pressing. I found after a few days of use, the ironing pad was separating from the rigid back and warping. Once I realised the problem, I placed a lot of heavy books on top to remedy the problem. I haven't used steam since then,and the board seems fine now.

This product works just fine but it has got a somewhat toxic smell that gets worse when you're pressing something. Mine came with a sticker on the front saying it contains a chemical known to be dangerous which doesn't help! I'll only be using this when I have to, which is a shame as I wanted it to be my go-to pressing surface for scrap quilting.

Every quilter should have one of these, compact and excellent quality

This is a great portable piece of kit but I didn't cotton onto the fact that because it's American there are no metric measurements. I thought it was a bit pricey too so only buy it if you're really going to use it.

Wonderful, very useful, I use it all the time especially for applique
