Winner of the desertcart India Popular Choice Debut Book 2025 Award. From one of India's most-loved creators comes something new to fall in love with. Avani's favourite thing to do is bury her nose in romance novels, but, honestly, life can't be trusted to make the stories real, right? But in the bookstore where she works, a man walks in, straight out of the pages of her favourite love stories. Aman is hot, successful, seems to know what she's going to say before she's said it, and just cannot get enough of her. In short, he's perfect. Then why is Avani losing her mind, ignoring the advice of her BFFs and trying to convince herself that he's just too good to be true? Will Aman ever be able to figure her out? And will Avani allow him to? Wickedly witty, tender and utterly relatable at every turn, Too Good to Be True by Prajakta Koli is the sparkling, true-blue, will-they-won't-they love story you've been waiting for! Review: A warm, witty, and wonderful debut!⭐ - Prajakta Koli’s Too Good To Be True is exactly what its title suggests—a romance that feels too good, but incredibly true at the same time. As someone loved watching her content as MostlySane, I was excited to see how she’d transition into storytelling—and she didn’t disappoint. The story of Avani, a dreamy law student juggling real-world responsibilities and fictional expectations of love, felt like a mirror. Her chemistry with Aman is slow-burning, endearing, and refreshingly grounded. What I loved most is how Prajakta weaves humor, emotional vulnerability, and the messiness of modern relationships without making it feel clichéd. The book beautifully captures that space between fiction and reality—the idea that love doesn’t have to be dramatic or perfect to be worth fighting for. The writing style is casual and chatty, almost like a friend telling you a story over coffee, which made it a comforting read. Whether you’re a fan of romance, a believer in imperfect love, or just looking for a feel-good story with a big heart, this book is a hug in paperback form. Highly recommend to Gen Z and millennial readers who want love stories that feel real. Review: Nicely written! - Suchhh a lovely book! It really met my expectations. Written soo well, legit can imagine evrything in the story✨ Luvhedd it

A Beautiful First Romance Read with a Small Printing Issue
I recently read Too Good to Be True by Prajakta Koli, and I absolutely loved it! This was my first romantic novel, and it turned out to be such a wonderful experience. The story felt relatable, engaging, and emotionally warm, making it a great introduction to the romance genre for me. However, I did face one issue with my copy of the book. Page 288 appears to be completely blank, which disrupts the reading experience a bit. I’ve attached images for reference. Overall, it’s a beautiful read, and I’d definitely recommend it—just hoping this printing issue gets resolved in future copies.

Must read for a butterfly feeling
Loved the book! Love how she captured every emotion, expression and feeling of a girl going through phases of love and life, the book felt like a warm hug, too beautiful, accidentally came upon this book, hadn’t read any reviews or anything, just randomly picked it up and I was so glued on to it that I finished it in literally 2 days! Will definitely recommend it.

"A Heartwarming Debut: Too Good to Be True "
Prajakta Koli’s debut novel, Too Good to Be True, is a charming attempt at capturing the magic of relationships and everyday life. With her signature humor and relatable storytelling, she brings a sense of familiarity to the pages, making it an easy and enjoyable read. While the book has its heartwarming moments, the plot feels somewhat predictable. As a frequent reader, I noticed that the storyline mirrors themes and tropes commonly found in other books. This took away some of the excitement, though it doesn’t completely diminish the book’s appeal. What kept me engaged were the characters and their chemistry. The way Prajakta portrays their interactions—full of witty banter, emotional depth, and sincere moments—makes the story come alive. Even if the plot feels familiar, the characters bring a sense of comfort and charm that is hard to ignore. As a debut, Too Good to Be True is a good effort that showcases Prajakta Koli’s potential as a writer. While it may not break new ground, it’s a feel-good read perfect for when you’re in the mood for something light and entertaining.

Felt too real… I love the book
With time people have expected fictional books to be fully out of reality and I feel that’s the reason why people didn't like the book much….. But let's be honest… not even a bit of this book felt unreal or fictional…. Aman and Avni were toooo real to me……. THE BOOK WAS FULL OF COMFORT AND HEALTHY FLIRT….. There was no kidnapping or harassment plot… it was simple yet soooooo beautifully curated….. I would love to read more books like this
