Q: This seems 2B a relatively new product, & 'SAFE FOR ALL FABRICS.' How about microfiber blankets, etc. that state 'USE NO FABRIC SOFTENER/SHEETS?'...

First I'll agree with you that it is a new product (as far as I know). Its not a fabric softener, rather a final "rinse" to ensure the stink is gone, and it is! I love this stuff. My dogs bed smells like hot-dog and even after a good wash with Tide, maintained some of the ghastly smell, but adding this to the wash cycle (via the fabric softener cup) totally eliminates the stink. Also, there is a lot of pee in my laundry (my son is disabled) and I finally gave up trying to get the smell out because NOTHING I did worked. No amount of washes, fabric softener or refresher worked. Then I tried this stuff, and POW, my mind was blown and I put it on auto order. Its not a fabric softener at all, its a full clean rinse and it works! Hope this is helpful.
