Has anyone put these in the washing machine? The tag says wipe clean only. It seems highly impractical for the 100% cotton side.

I toss mine in the washer with my regular laundry. I put a little Dawn liquid on greasy spots. I put them in the dryer on Delicate. They still look great.

Will the Cotten scorch using in grill or hot smoker?

One would assume they would burn if coming in contact with the coals, etc. I'm only answering to agree with Michael Palmer. They are terrible. Too bulky and not flexible enough creating a hazard when dealing with hot items.

The pads are confortable to lift hot pots and covers, in the kitchen being for me handier than mitts. They can also be used to open stubborn jars, applying the silicon side. Really good product.

The reverse side is so thin and has no protection from hea and it’s impossible to pick up with just the silicone side t. Prepare to burn yourself.
