How would you describe the panning action of the Induro ball head? Is it a smooth and easy to rotate?

Easy to pan with, easy lock down. Very happy with this ball head.

Does this come with a 50mm arca swiss plate?

It does come with a plate which is 60mm according to the Induro website.

I do not see anywhere what material the ball head and casing are made of, can anyone tell me?
