Defective, could not switch handing due to front cover being so stuck on, it would break the lock if I could even find a way to put in that much force to remove it.Deceptive/incorrect advertising:- NOT ADA compliant (you need to undo thumb-turn and then push lever to get out)- NOT UL listed (no UL marking anywhere, including the latch)- Not satin chrome (2nd picture shows "Satin chrome finish")- "Access requires a key…perfect for 'customer only' restaurant bathrooms"--no, it's locked only when IN-USE is on. No way to make it locked and say VACANT. When VACANT is on, it's always unlocked. So even if you only have 1 restroom and only use 1 key that you give to a customer each time, you have to rely on the customer to lock the door back up after they exit.. Nobody will do that.. That's extra work and it will then say IN-USE, so other customers will think someone's inside and keep waiting.I'm guessing not grade 2 or BHMA certified or lasting 500,000 cycles based on the first 2 lies at least.. Those can't be "spun".

Look, I don't know what that other reviewer is going on about. Wanting it to be locked while saying vacant so obviously defeats the purpose of having a door lock like this. At the end of the day, it does what it needs to do. I am using it for the public restroom of our art league and it has functioned MOSTLY as it should.I say mostly because the big issue I've had with it is that it sometimes sticks a bit. But it does have everything it claims to have, including a set of keys. Still, I would expect much smoother operation from something as simple as this and so, I can't give it the full five stars. Maybe chalk that up to potential user end from when I installed it or potential QC issues. Either way, it gets the job done for the most part.

Our office has unisex bathrooms, and this lock, in addition to working fantastically and smoothly, will help avoid embarrassing moments when other office staff try to open the door only to find it locked.Our doors are commercial, and this new lock was easy to remove and replace without drilling any holes. The thickness was not an issue.I can award this privacy lock a solid five stars.

Seems like a decent product. Yet they are not keyed. The description says they keyed in the photo has a key yet they came without keys.
