Will they work with the WiFi goes out? And will they keep there color during black out or reset?

I'm not 100% on this, but I believe these just use the 2.4Ghz band but don't actually connect to WiFi. The advantage is that you don't need line of sight like you do for IR. So i believe these should still work if WiFi goes out. I also think that the remote sets the color so even if the power goes out it should remember your last setting, at least until the batteries go out in the remote. Again, not 100% but I think that is how they work.
