If you walk like 5 feet from it or away, it looks like a black screen. Though at most peeker angles, they can see it unless they're really side eyeing it. I think its really effective in school with class mates sitting next to you. buttons are 20% harder to press so you'll notice your light taps are not registered more often, it could be a deal breaker for some people, I'm slightly peeved at it. I don't know if dust will get under the seal yet like the other ones for my phone type.After a few days of using it, I noticed there is a clicking sound, because there is a small air pocket inside because only the side sticks, there is a click every time I press a certain area of the glass protector clicking on the glass screen or something similar.No dust is getting under the edge seal like the other brand after some serious pocket and unpocketing in a workshop filled with saw dust.Very small problem to consider is that if you're driving with your phone as a GPS, your passenger can't read the map at their seat angle because it blacks out. So if you're clumsy that misses exits or stuff and you have a more experienced person next that occasionally tells you instructions, it'll be harder for them.
