This set essentially covers all your basic kitchen cutting utensil needs - the primary knife is sturdy and sharp with great reach and good weight, the serrated bread knife is a smooth cut without ripping up your bread, and the paring knife is perfect for your precision or small-item needs. Each knife is great manufacturing quality with no residues, loose fits, or cheap materials. The block is pretty solid quality and comes with additional slots to fit other knives you may have that can fit.

Assuming you get a genuine set, these knifes are very sharp and stay sharp longer comparing to many other common household brands, which is telling me they are certainly made from higher grade steel then most other knifes that may appear sharper at the beginning but will become dull very quickly. Very satisfied with the purchase and the chef knife from this set quickly became household favorite. Very nice handle and weight balance on the knife as well.
