My apartment door was too heavy for everything I tried, but this door stop works beautifully... keeping the door firmly open and not slipping on the wood floors. I bought a second one for my glass terrace door which hangs high above the landing - it's larger size fits nicely and keeps the door from blowing shut in the wind.

This product works so well! We have old doors in our old home that don't lock or completely close, allowing pesky kitties to break in and do bad things to our shoes. We have finally found a product to solve the problem. Now, I need to buy a video system to watch them fruitlessly try to break in. Haaa! Sometimes, it's the little things that make life that much better. :)

I took out my carpeting and replaced it with vinyl planks. I didn’t realize there would be a much larger gap between the bottom of the door to the garage and the floor. This wedge worked great and automatically adjusts to the gap. Highly recommend

My garage door has a spring hinge that swings it shut. There are times this is good and times I need the door to stay open. This door stop is excellent for that entry way. Due to the spring tensioned wedge, it is easy to insert and remove by foot, the adhesion to the floor is excellent and it doesn't damage the lower edge of the door.The reason for the -1 star on durability, my toddler has decided this was his favorite toy and after several months of toddler play, he finally managed to break the hinge. Despite not being toddler proof, it otherwise fits the application so well that I'm replacing with the same model.

Advertised as heavy duty - implying sturdy. Bought one, used it - it broke after a short time (two months). Bought another - lasted a bit longer (6 months). Will not be buying another!!! Suggest letting folks know that it is fragile at the nose end and can't easily be repaired.

Love this and would recommend to everyone needing one. Adjustability factor is huge!

Sent it back but NOT DUE TO QUALITY! The door I have was not high enough on bottom for the door stop to fit. Bummer

We have self-closing entry door from the garage to the house. There is about a two inch gap from the door bottom to the floor. Prior to getting this door stop it was a pain in the neck to get groceries into the house. No longer! Just slide this door stop under the door, it self adjusts, and the self-closing hinged door remains open. This was the only one we found that had both the necessary height and was adjustable. Thank you!
