Powermatic should be ashamed
This mobile base leaves this very heavy jointer up on its wheels. The rear locking wheels only lock the wheels from rolling not from pivoting. The jointer wiggles easily. I bought a mobile base for my Sawstop that has a hydraulic lift to raise the saw to move it and lower it back on the ground for less money. Even the little stand for my Dewalt planer lifts up to be moved and sets down for use.

It works but...
Overall it works well, but the corner and side supports are pretty flimsy and the finish is laughable. The paint rubbed off in the box in several places and easily scraped off with my fingernail. I had to take it down to bare metal and refinish it before it could be used.

Made in USA? The Gold Standard?
I just purchased one of these through Woodcraft. Honestly, Powermatic should be ashamed to put a made in USA sticker so proudly on this piece of junk. As the previous reviewer mentioned, the paint job is horrible. The metal is rough like sandpaper in allot of places, the black paint is rubbing off (doesn't look like the metal was even primed), it doesn't even sit flat until you drop your 400 pound jointer into it. They couldn't even get the Powermatic sticker centered on the front bar. I had to sand it down and repaint it myself properly. For the amount of money I spent on this, I should have just had a local welder make one for me. It probably would have been cheaper and higher quality. Shame on you Powermatic!
