It doesn’t have any effect on the water at all. You need a super sense of dog smelling capabilities for the scent to affect how the water tastes. Amazon should really stop selling it. The scientist should try again.

This is an amazing product. As someone that hates drinking water, this has me drinking water constantly! Bc of the scent pods, it doesn't taste like water at all. They truly do smell like what the scent pods say, and therefore, taste like them too! Thankfully, the top pushes the scent pods down when you put the top on, so it doesn't just waste the smell. The only thing I hate is how short the scent pods last.
