Due South, Vol. II: The Soundtrack

Again this CD is Canadian through and through. From the CD inlay being made in Canada to all artists being Canadian to feature in a TV series filmed in Canada with its fronting Canadian actor, Paul Gross. My only dislike about this CD is that it features a track that is sweary and not like its predecessor. The soundtrack also includes music from Due South's instrumental score.

On the whole I personally prefer the first volume, there's quite few songs I really didn't like on this one, but that's just my taste in music I suppose. Highlight for me is definitely Robert McKenzie (not sure if I've spelled that correctly) it's a sort of folk/rock mix, just my cup of tea. Paul Gross has a singing voice I didn't imagine, still I like it. Still giving it 5 stars though for the songs that I do like, and tbf I think anyone would be hard pressed to find a compilation album they liked every song of. Damn if only his character were real, I'd be on him like a car bonnet, he's delicious.

I am an avid fan of the tv show Due South,so i was excited to learn that there is a soundtrack to go with it as i love the music that goes with the show,then i found out there is a second volume which is to be honest not as great as the first one but i still enjoy listening to it regardless.

A great mix of music. It always amazes me that people can choose the right music for the right scene. Paul Gross manages to get a track on to showcase his vocal talents. If you liked the series you'll like this.

a good collection

Number one was so original and such an eclectic assorted of excellent examples of 'best of' tracks it would have been hard to repeat and unfortunately volume II does fall short of volume I.

This is a reasonable album, but not one of my best purchases! Good background music, but I must say that I haven't listened to it many times as it is not the best.

Very happy to have volume 2 Due South C.D, liking the tunes.
