MinouraKickstand for Brompton (Made in Japan) Black Lightweight 155g MINO-BL

I've been wanting a kickstand for my Brompton and finally bought one now that the weather is nice for bike riding. I read other reviews before buying this kickstand, so I understood that it's not specifically built for the Brompton and there may be needs for little tweeks. The kickstand comes with a little screw that was in the tiny hole up top, but that doesn't screw down anywhere, so I just threw it out. The kickstand is attached beneath the nut of the back left of the bike. I wrapped some electric tape around the kickstand before attaching it, as someone suggested, so that it doesn't hit the rim. Overall, it's very sturdy, easy to install, and works as expected.

This kickstand is not made for the Brompton. When folded, the tip of the kickstand touches the rim of the rear wheel..You will have to install a thick rubber O ring at the top of the stand to prevent the stand from folding completely iorder to get a few cm of clearance between the tip of the kickstand and rear wheel..I will not recommend this product at all. If this is meant to be used on the brompton, it shoaled at least come with a thick fitted rubber O ring.

Build quality: excellentFits Brompton or any 16 inch wheels bike. Since this kickstand is not made for Bromton it is not entirely without fault. When the kickstand is in tow position, the tip is so close to the wheel I had to roll electrical tape around the base of the fold mechanism to prevent it from folding too much. Other than that I am happy with it.

The little screw you don't need, pretty install overall just remove the rear nut then attach with kickstand.The main issue is that when you are ready to ride and flip up the kickstand, it gives you barely 1-2cm space away from the rear bike rim. If you add a couple washers/use a rubber washer or somehow space out the screw where the kickstand is tightened, you may solve this problem.The front handlebar/wheel must be turned to the side when standing up too (you cannot leave it straight forward or the bike will fall to it's side).3 stars because it's still a solid product (wrong item description this is NOT meant to be on a Brompton but it "works").

Great addition on my 2021 Brompton. It looks very nice and sturdy. I highly recommend this product.

Does not work on my Brompton. Any weight on the front, or wind makes the bike very unstable. Will be returning.

This kickstand is very sturdy. I had it installed on my Brompton Bicycle because Brompton bicycles have no kickstand. I highly recommend this purchase. The item does what I expected.

Kickstand looks like it might work on a brompton but does not
