Baby-Sitters Club, Books 1-4 Paperback – September 1, 1995

I haven't laid eyes on these books in thirty years, and boy, what a nostalgia high I'm on! Re-reading these four introductory stories has brought back many wonderful memories of 80s/90s fashion, friendship, interests, and drama. I'd forgotten just how much influence Claudia (and Stacey) had on my clothing style in my tweens (before 'tweens' were even a thing!) What I hadn't realised the first time around was how carefully and well-written the books are. Martin uses excellent grammar, and the vocabulary accurately represents the backgrounds of the characters. I'm very glad that I had the Great Idea of immersing myself in this world again. :)

I read these when I was 8 and have just got my 8 year old daughter onto this series, she LOVES them and has just finished books 1-5 in the last fortnight!

how could you hate the babysitters club. first I adknowledge.Ann Martin because writing like a million books in a series is pretty amazing. the book is fun, and even though it's bases on middle schoolers I think you could read this series in 3rd.grade! plus it's four books in one.

The four-in-one for these books are a good deal. I read these books as a child. Although I've obviously outgrown them, I don't think they come off too dated.

Yes would recommend to all my friends and family would like to have more of the series bundled that way it is cheaper and more people will buy
