This replacement telephone cable works very well and was very good value. It saved getting a replacement phone as the cables do tend to break up after constant use and cause a lot of crackling on the line. Calling it a 5m cable is a bit of a stretch (ha ha) but it is quite long.

You'd be doing well to stretch this thing to 5 metres. It stretches to 2 before rocketing the phone towards you. It will stretch to 5 metres don't get me wrong, just not when it's actually attached to a phone. If you want 5 metres, you'd probably be better paying for the 10 metre option. Very misleading, would not recommend.

Cable claims to be 3m, but it is only 3m if you stretch it out really hard. 1.5m would be more realistic for normal use. It was a little bit shorter than the original phone cable than I needed to extend. Quality appears to be OK, so if you only need a short cable then fine; but not if you want a cable that will easily extend to 3m.

This fitted in our BT phone perfectly but the phone would not work with it on

although the size IS 3M it does not easily stretch to this length

Worked as described to fix our home phone. A low-cost fix.

I didn't receive the 5 mitre cord. The One that was delivered stretches about 4 feet. I didn't return it, as I'll shortly be moving house & can't spare the time to travel to Post Office.
