arrived on time makes a great present for a budding all round artist and perfect for a new found hobby

Liked the price. You have to remember that these chisels need sharpening.Once this is done, they are pretty good.

I like the set and reckon if I look after them they should last.

You get what you pay for and these are very cheap items. They serve me well for what I use them for and that’s bushcrafting and the work I do with them doesn’t have to be clean, clear or absolutely accurate.If your buying these to do lathe work you’ll be disappointed, if you buy them to do home DIY projects you’ll be disappointed, they could possibly be used by complete beginners wanting to just get used to working with hand tools.The blades have just been thrown together, the edges have been shown to a very corse wheel or belt, roughly shaped then boxed up, the edges are jagged with huge ridges, you’d need to do a lot of work on these to tidy them up.They do what I need as what I need isn’t the norm for these and my accuracy and clean finish isn’t required, I’ve used them to make a number of joints, saw horse fittings, make pegs to fill auger holes and they’ve done the trick, this has been done on dead woodland materials. The file that comes with it is very handy while in the forest and makes short work of materials.It says in the details this comes with a wet stone, I’ve certainly not found one in the pack.I’ve given it very low ratings simply because it would be no good for what it’s advertised for, not how suited it is for my use.

Very poor quality. Finials and ha does loose, very poor quality steel. Even if I could be bothered honing them (which I can’t) you still end up with a poor quality sharper tool. Big chunks out of the steel which is poorly ground to start with. Avoid and save up.

I was surprised with quality, it is amazing. I just love it.

Auf den ersten Blick sehen die Schnitzeisen echt gut aus.Von etwas weiter weg vielleicht. Ich ergänze in Klammern mal was in der Produktbeschreibung so steht.Die Holzgriffe haben teilweise Kerben oder Sprünge was das handling definitv beeinflusst. ("3. Hohe Qualität Griff: Der Griff aus hochwertigem verhärten Holz. Es ist komfortabel zu bedienen. Und die Qualität ist zuverlässig. 5. Hochwertige Holzgriff: Der Griff ist aus hochwertigem Holz. Die Oberfläche ist glatt, schön und komfortabel zu bedienen.")Die Metallringe am Griff sind stellenweise locker.Der schleif"stein" ließe sich wohl besser als Feile beschreiben. Mal davon abgesehen dass dieser überstehende scharfe Eisenkanten hat taugt er zum schärfen nicht.Die Tasche, außen Kunstleder innen Stoff war übrigens unterhalb der Feile ähh. des Schleifsteins *hüstel* gut angegriffen durch die Metallrispen. Überraschung.Nun zum Wichtigesten: die Klingen.("1. Helle und saubere Oberfläche: Das Werkzeug-Bit hochwertigen Stahllegierung aus. Es hat eine hohe Härte. So das Werkzeug Bit ist langlebig") : saubere Oberfläche? vielleicht sauber im Sinne von: frei von Dreck. Sauber verarbeitet? Fehlanzeige. Die Metallwerkzeuge mal eben an meinem Fingernagel ausgetestet. Als Feile taugt es wohl nicht so viel aber Abrieb ist vorhanden. Da hätte man wenigstens kurz drüber polieren können...("2. Sharp Blade: Die Klinge für zweimal poliert ist. Die Krümmung ist leicht und arbeitssparend."): das kann man ihnen doch lassen, die Krümmung passt zum Holzbearbeiten gut. Wenn da leider nicht die Klinge an sich wäre. Stichwort "Sharp Blade" Ha! Wo?Abgesehen davon, dass 3 der 12 Werkzeuge mit starken Scharten geliefert wurden, sodass diese ohne lange Aufarbeitung nutzlos sind, ist kein einziges davon scharf genug um ohne einen schweißtreibenden Kraftakt auch nur Lindenholz (weiches Holz) anständig zu bearbeiten.Mein Fazit: Wenn ihr schweren Schrott braucht um damit nachts die Mauzenden Straßenkatzen vor dem Fenster damit zu bewerfen (rein hypthetisch natürlich, sowas tut man nicht) dann ist das hier genau richtig geeignet dafür.Für Holz oder Gott bewahre Obst und Gemüse (außer zum zermatschen) defintiv ungeeignet. und für 28€ kann man mehr erwarten.
