Very clear instructions all photos
This is the third book I have bought on using an overlocker and by far the best! I am thrilled to finally discover how to do various techniques. My overlocker is an older basic one but I now know it is not quite as limited as I had first thought. For instance mock band seams. I would never have known to call them this and thought they were only possible on a more professional machine. The fact that all are photographs makes it so easy to follow, and the instructions are quite clear.I was glad to find that actually the threading is the same and the machines haven't changed too much over time. There are only a couple of techniques in the book which are not possible with my machine, so if you happen to have an old one similar to mine you will love this book.

Interesting
Had an over locker for years and struggled a lot with tension. This is a super book, helped me understand my machine better. I might even try some of the suggested ' extra ' tasks that can be achieved using different feet and disengaging blade. Would recommend.

Overlocking demystified
Whether you have just purchased an overlocker or already have some experience using one, this excellent book explains clearly and simply the mechanics of the machine and the variety of finishes which can be achieved. I have had an over locker for some time but realise I have never really known its full potential until I read this book. Initially the book explores how an overlocker works in clear, simple terms which can be applied to any overlocker regardless of make of machine. Finishes that can be achieved are clearly described and enhanced with pictures and step by step instructions how to execute each one. Highly recommended for beginners or experienced users.

For an overlocker / serger newbie, as I am!!!!
Love this book, overlockers can be a bit daunting particularly the threading of the machine and the various anomolies with tension if one of the threads isn't correct but this book explains it all.Plus its got an how to section on differnet techniques and a few projects to get you started on the machine.Very pleased with this book

Excellent manual
Scared of overlockers? Just bought your first one? Already know the basics but want to refine your use of the overlocker? This is the book for you. I used it to learn to use my first overlocker. The instructions are clear, with good pictures, and plenty of handy tips. A lot of different uses and adjustments are explained, and there are a lot of troubleshooting tips. Definitely recommended.

An Absolute Must For the New Overlocker Owner
I have sewn for many years and for ages an overlocker has been on my Wishlist. Finally I got one and then spent 6 weeks feeling slightly overwhelmed and scared to get going. This book is marvellous. Within a day of opening it I know I am on the way to discovering just how to use my machine in lots of different ways and not be afraid of it coming unthreaded or cutting the wrong amount off. I am sure I will be referring back to this book time and time again.

Useful
I've just purchased my very first overlocker and as I bought it second hand it came without an instruction manual. This book has been very helpful. Good clear step by step guidance. The workings are explained and broken down in to bite size pieces making it easy to follow. I couldn't have managed without it.
