Dark Souls The Board Game: Gaping Dragon Expansion

Love this game and this piece is a great addition. I have all the expansions now and I just gotta get em painted. Steamforgedgames are a wonder to order from and promptly responded to any questions I had. Assembly wasn’t a problem after dipping the attaching part in hot water. Looking forward to trying their Resident Evil 2 board game now.

Yes the wings and arms had to be put in hot water to soften them to fit. Other than that thought they fit perfectly now. Such a large and detailed model for only $40 is a great addition to the core set. Had a fun afternoon painting this guy!

Just what i was expecting

It came in good condition and everything looks great. The wings were hard to put on but, all I had to do was heat up some water, dip the joint in for a couple of seconds, and they went in.

Mine arrived with the back legs broken off of the base. No big deal, thats an easy fix. I am however going to attempt returning it because none of the pieces that require assembly fit properly. There is literally no way of assembling this thing without damaging the joints during assembly. This is due to the plastic pieces that go in the joints being Ill fitted. The dark root expansion was a little overpriced, but still good. This on the other hand is irredeemable. Suffice to say, if my experience is indicative of the overall product, (and I suspect it is) then steam forged games really screwed up on this. I can't even put it together for fear of causing more damage. Not only am I'm going to try to return this thing. I will not be purchasing anymore of the mega boss expansions for this game. To be fair, I could fix SOME of the issues by busting out my modeling knife, but I feel like I should not have to do that when I essentially paid $75 for a single plastic miniature. It is possible that mine is a fluke, but given how poorly fitted and expensive this thing is, I'm not willing to risk it. Hope your experience is better than mine if you buy it, but I simply cannot recommend this expansion, despite really wishing I could. Heres hoping future batches solve these issues, because I really do want to like and recommend this thing.Update. After trying to return this item, the seller charged me a 53% restocking fee. ON A BROKEN ITEM! As if they were some how going resell this thing to someone, despite it arriving broken. Definitely avoid this expansion, and definitely do not buy it from a third party seller. If you are going to take a chance on it, only buy it directly from Amazon! And check the miniature before you open anything else!

Amazing figure but it was difficult to put the wings and arms on and had to whittle them down a bit so we wouldnt break the arms or wings trying to put it together but other than that it is an awesome figure and boss.

Was too expensive for something that was hard to put together and I was charged COD for shipping not sure why

The media could not be loaded.  I bought this last year and if I'd paid attention and gave it an inspection I'd of sent it back for a replacement or got a refund.I didn't as I have many Steamforged products but this should not have passed quality control. Nothing fits and as you can see the seams and gaps in the maw are beyond fixable as they don't line up... I have most of the collection of Dark Souls and this is most upsetting

Und wenn man - wie ich - ein Miniature-Painter ist, hat man abseits des Spiels noch etliche Stunden Spaß am individuellen Design und Bemalen der Figur!

Excellente qualité ! Je recommande si vous êtes un vrai fan de Dark Souls et amateur de peinture figurine ;) !Correspond tout à fait à mes attentes, packaging super réussi, carte de jeu de très bonne qualité.Boss vraiment Badass sur le plateau de jeu avec ses 46 PV et son pouvoir de corrosion, les parties s'annoncent vraiment titanesque !
