I bought this for a friend and they absolutely love it. It looks like it would be heavy, but it actually is very light, and you don't have to worry about it weighing down your tree. There are two slots in the back that you can place Christmas lights in to make it light up. I love that there are no batteries needed, and that it is a larger, more prominent ornament, but very light in weight. Also would be cute to add to a "Christmas Village."

This is a terrific ornament. Very detailed and good quality. The one thing that I missed in the description is that there is a hole in the back where you can hook it up to your lights! So while it is not lighted itself its super easy to light it up. Its not quite the same as lights inside it directly but it does work pretty well and we're happy with it.

The media could not be loaded. Very cute and light so it doesn’t drag down the tree branches. I got this on sale for $14, so this was a fabulous deal! There are some delicate pieces on the top and front, so hang with care. It would be a great gift for anyone who loves Harry Potter and it would be an item to keep our year-round.

Got this at a great price. Ornament is fairly light for the size which is good. Most of my big ornaments are heavy and are awkward to hang on the tree. I love the light effect you get when you insert your Christmas lights into the back.Some of the little details in the display windows get lost, but if you are a fan of Harry Potter or of the theme parks you will still be able to recognize what they are.

My daughter loved this Gringotts ornament celebrating her trip to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. The ornament is well detailed and larger than what I would consider a standard size ornament. As described the height is 6 1/2 inches tall. While the size seems extreme, it's made from plastic making it light enough to hang on a tree branch. An opening in the back of the ornament allows for a light from the tree to be threaded though, lighting up the windows of the bank.

Ordered this as a gift for my adult son, who is a Harry Potter fan, as a memento of our family trip to Universal Theme Park last year. It is very detailed, and looks exactly like the Gringotts ride at Universal. I am very happy with this purchase, and hope he will like it as much as I. There is an opening, lined with a rubber grommet, in the back of the ornament which can be used to insert a light from a decorated tree that will then light up the ornament from the inside. The ornament itself is quite large, so if big ornaments are not to your taste, you may not care for this on your tree. In my opinion, it would make a nice free-standing piece as well. It does not have a viewable detailed interior described by other reviewers as found in another Potter ornament, but the price point appears much lower on the Gringotts ornament, too, so I kept that in mind when ordering.

I got this as a Christmas gift for my mom, who loves Harry Potter. We also went to Harry Potter World in Florida this year together, and she was obsessed with the dragon on top of the bank and would sit and wait for it to breathe fire haha. It was cute, so I had to get her this as she loves dragons and I figured it would be a cute way to remember our trip. She also loves collecting ornaments for her Christmas tree. It's a pretty piece with tons of detail. It does seem really fragile and has areas I'm scared will break, but my mom also takes very good care of her things. I'd say it makes a great gift as she's in love with it. It is pricey though...but I had a hard time finding it literally anywhere else. It could also be used as a home decor piece. It did NOT come with a ribbon or anything to hang it up as an ornament- you'll have to supply that part yourself.

Amazing ornament! Love this collection. Just wish I coule get the older ones for a bit cheaper. This one looks really nice on the tree as it has two holes in the back for lights and store front glows nicly.
