Beautiful! Was concerned when I read how flimsy this box was. Makes me wonder how strong they were?? No it’s not thick wood, but hardly flimsy. I use it to keep remote controls in. Our dog likes to chew on them. Very pleased with this purchase!

très beau sur l'image, .. un peu léger et fragile, et en deçà de ce que l'image permet d'imaginer,..(l'intérieur du couvercleest taché suite au camouflage vraisemblable d'un défaut d'aspect, .. le dessus lui, est d'un arrondi très approximatif)

The looks are great. The quality is marginal. Not all that sturdy it feels like it would break if any weight or stress was put on it. Would not buy again.

Good Item for the cost
We bought two of these chests for our boys to have as toy pirate chests. The wood base of the chest is fairly thin, but not as bad as I thought it would be from reading other reviews. The item shipped quickly and was exactly what I expected. For the cost of this chest (we paid $35 each) it was a good value. They have held up fine to our boys playing with them.
