Great product. Install was a little time consuming but not a very hard job.

Good quality. Fit perfectly in place in heater core housing.

I am restoring an 81 cj7. Some one had removed the heater box. So starting from scratch I searched and found this heater core. It is well built and fits perfect.

In the description of this part it states the country of origin is the USA. The part appeared to be of good quality but was made in China. Foam was missing off of one side and the mounting holes would not lineup. I decided to return the product and seek elsewhere.

Quality seems good and fit elwas perfect.

I did not have any issues with this heater core fitting as a direct replacement for OEM in my 84 CJ-7. No drilling or bending was required. However I did find that it was best practice to install the heater core in the "inside" of the heater box and waiting until the heater box was re-assembled before installing the screws to the heater core mounting plate. It was nearly impossible to correctly seat the heater core into heater box with it already attached to the metal backing of the heater box. Hopefully this helps!

Replaced original no modification needed.

This fit my 1979 CJ7 with no issues and has worked well since. If you've got a Jeep (Heap) of a similar vintage, be aware that the outlets on these are 3/4" instead of the 5/8" that your heater hoses and some other replacement heater cores may have. I had to make a run to the parts store for adapters, but that's a pretty minor gripe when it comes to an AMC vehicle produced when Carter was President.
