Not for me, but could be good for you. Seems like a good shoe.
It wasn't quite what I needed, but seemed like a well built shoe. As others have said, order a size larger than you normally wear. I wear a 12-12.5, ordered 13 and definitely could not have gone smaller. Nice cushion on the heal, and a lot of the weight ends up on the back part of arch. Unfortunately, I was hoping for something more like the old Skecher Shape Ups which cured my last bout of plantar facetious many years ago. The shoes came with 3 insoles, 2 with arch support, which all seemed good quality. I'd recommend giving them a shot.

Survived 1 week in Disney World
In my opinion these sneakers have been one of the best investments I've made for my feet. I'm in my mid-60's, overweight (working on it), with diabetes. I had started feeling temporary pain in the Achilles tendon of my left foot. The discomfort would occur after being stationary but would quickly go away when I walked for several minutes. I saw an ad for Gravity Defyer sneakers. Advertised as being a walking sneaker with orthopedic corrective inserts sneaker I made the purchase. I had been invited to go to Disney World with family, had been advised that the walking might be brutal for me, and I wanted to have another set of sneakers I could use.Walking in them for the first time was unique. The sole felt stiff, but this quickly faded. In early August we were in Disney World for a week. Not one drop of rain. Temperatures were in the high-90's/low 100's. The "real feel" was between 117 - 124 degrees. I registered between 23k to 25k steps, over twice my usual daily step count. While they were right about the walking, they didn't mention the discomfort of standing in long lines in that heat. I was pleasantly surprised that I had no complaints about my feet or legs. I wore the Gravity Defyers every single day. The heat from the pavement was intense and the common joke was that the soles of our sneakers were melting. People with gel inserts claimed to feel their feet sliding around in their sneakers. As for me, the soles of my sneakers were solid. I enjoyed walking in these sneakers. Even standing in slow moving lines was not an issue for me.I read in the reviews that the sizing was small compared to other shoes. I found this to be true. I normally take a 12 - 12.5-inch size. I ordered a 13-inch size and it fit like a glove. If I re-order these sneakers, I'd be tempted to go with a 13-wide if I was to wear heavy socks in cold weather. The sneakers look far better than the pictures displayed on Amazon. I purchased the grey color because all the really cool colors were no longer available - which I took as an indication of the sneaker's popularity. It turns out the grey color is a pretty sharp looking sneaker.I am thrilled with these sneakers. I would definitely purchase them again and I have recommended them to my friends. My feet and legs feel awesome.

Sizes
I think the sizes are too small. The 9 wide was very tight and too narrow for my feet.

Not as advertised!
Not that these shoes do not defy gravity but also feel a little more stiff and weird. There is a piece of the heel that protrudes out and makes it weird to walk on. As oppose to what they cautioned against, I did not have any pain or discomfort, it's just that the shoes were not any more bouncy or comfortable than other shoes. I had my two teenage sons try them and see if they want them. They also rejected them because the soles felt weird and stiff to walk on. May be if you have a calcaneal bursitis the heel can get some pain relief but most people don't have heel bursitis. So, I don't understand the hype. It is false advertisement. Also, the returning process is the most burdensome and time consuming I have ever experienced on Amazon. You've got to fill out a form, only use the original box, package it yourself and then go to the US post office, with all the long lines. No thanks!

Pain Relief
I bought these as a short term measure while awaiting knee replacement. I've been stunned at the difference these have made, much less pain.

Not perfect
I will say they help but they are not the cure all so to speak. The insoles they come with I didn’t use I found them to be worthless. The shoes help with shock and some heal pain. Slippery when on anything wet though.

Best shoes ever
I average 13.2k steps a day and I go through a lot of shoes but these shoes last. I only buy quality shoes because they hold up. These shoes lasted me 9+ months (over 3.5 million steps). They have the best support and are super comfy. I won't wear anything else now. Totally worth the money because the last 3x as long and have such great support
