Great for natural low impact sugar whether for diabetes or diet
I used to be a sugaraholoc who is now, surprise!, borderline diabetic; therefore, I have gotten to know a few of the newer low impact table sugar substitutes. While Splenda is sweet and is cheap, it is not very natural with the chlorine added etc. I won't hesitate to use while out at a restaurant if they have it, but for home use I wanted something more natural for the long term health benefits. Sweet and Low is very sweet, but who needs the whole chemical trip, right? Agave is natural, but high impact (low compared to table sugar, but still nowhere near these sugar substitutes).Truvia finds the perfect balance. It seems to be the safest for the long term while keeping the impact almost trivial. It has a very nice flavor, I can eat it right out of the pouch, or on top of stawberries and other fruits. It sweetens my daily tea and coffee with no alteration to the tea or coffee flavor--that's vital,--and it comes in these packets that make using the sweetner easy to moderate and measure.Give yourself a little time to get used to Truvia, and remind yourself of the benefits of it compared to the others, and I think you may find it to be the best of all of the low impact table sugar substitutes, of which you won't have to feel guilty eating and enjoying.

Truvia is the best of the Stevias (so far)
Avoiding calories and especially sugar is essential to health. Sugar causes inflammation. When coup[led with bad fats the result is cardio vascular disease. So why is Stevia different? Stevia reduces inflammation, and does not affect your blood sugar. Other sweeteners are linked to problems including depression. If your weight does not vary much then cutting a couple hundred calories a day will result in a gradual weight reduction. This along with actually reducing inflammation will make you feel better and live longer. Truvia is the best tasting Stevia I have found (Stevia in the Raw is the worst) although in Europe there are others that are more concentrated and taste better but I could not determine who makes them. Truvia is a core ingredient in my diet and for all of the best reasons.

Good product, great value
I really like Truvia. Mostly I use it to sweeten tea (hot and iced), but I am sure that it would be good for other things as well. I find its taste to be pleasantly sweet, and I prefer this to other artificial sweeteners such as Sweet'N'Low or Splenda that sometimes have a slightly "funny" taste to me. This is a great deal for the amount of packets that you get- the price per packet is much better than buying in any stores where I am, plus at most I could only get 80 packets in one package at the store. It's nice to get this large box full of packets if you use it frequently.

This is a multiple repeat order which I'll order again and again. Seller has this 400 packet box at a great price. Seller shipped immediately and product arrived as scheduled. Unsolicited Comment: As far as "natural" sweeteners, as I understand, Truvia is rated by "naturalists" around number 2. I've tried others and I do understand that Truvia has, I believe, one additive which I've read isn't harmful. The "naturalists" don't like that fact, however the honest ones don't have any "real" problem. I personally like that I can regulate the degree of sweetness easier than I can with some of the others. - Personal preference. - The proof is my annual blood test which in this case my sugar reading is right-dead-center in the "Normal" range. Meaning with Truvia and purposely watching my sugar (and sodium) intake I'm not overtaxing my system, so to speak. Recommended.

I have a diabetic person in family and we want to use something as natural as possible for their health. Truvia is a wonderful sweetener since it is natural and we are not using any chemicals to cause additional harm to our health. One pack is a standard one tea spoon size and makes a cup of tea perfectly sweet. Our family member makes lemonade very often using this sweetener and turns out great everytime whereas if you use other brand sweetener and mix it with lemon based drink, the combination creates some weird bitter taste.

Preferable to most other sweeteners; beware of the aftertaste
Overall, this is one of the better Stevia-based sweeteners out there. But I will say this: Stevia does not taste good. The initial taste is a deep good natural-like sweetness. But soon after that, it leaves a disgusting and nasty aftertaste in your mouth. You have to combine it with something else that has a strong flavor that's powerful enough overcome Stevia's aftertaste, in order to be able to stomach it. For example, these are amazing with coffee. And just FYI (since some people seem confused that there is only a little actual Stevia in this): Most Stevia-based sweeteners are 1% Steve and 99% something else. This is because Stevia ia 150 times sweeter than sugar. You have to combine it with something in order to be able to measure it out and pour it properly. Even "pure" Stevia (liquid) solutions, are just 99% water and 1% Stevia. I've never seen any company sell absolute pure Stevia. Most of the sweetness in Truvia comes from the Stevia. The Erythriol provides fluff and practical usability.Truvia is actually preferable to other brands as the 99% ingredient they use is Erythritol, which is one of the better sugar substitutes out there. The last Stevia-based sweetener I used was 99% Maltodextrin which actually has a higher glycemic index than sugar itself.Erythritol is far more preferable as combinant to Aspartame, Saccharin, etc.
