Love artwork, great trick taking game. The campaign allows you to work through increasing difficulty. Plenty of levels and good replay ability makes great value for money. A must for any LOTR fan.

As the title says, great game with a very nice Solo mode. Production/Art is gorgeous, especially if you are a fan of LotR.

The game is full of clever mechanisms to introduce characters each round of play across a campaign that tells the story and gives players the opportunity to work together to make the way through this wonderful book. You’ll get a lot of play out of this and it’s a great price for beautifully appointed cards.

There are so many LOTR themed games out there and I am so glad to have tried this one first! Got as a gift that he immediately wanted to play. Two of us have played the first four chapters so far (I think there are 18, then continued gameplay after you finish those). It would definitelyyy be better with 3-4 people, but still fun with just 2.Quick to setup and learn, esp if you are familiar with trick taking games. Good quality game pieces, easy to understand instruction booklet, really pretty art, thoughtfully incorporates the LOTR story instead of just adding LOTR characters onto an unrelated game. I was not expecting such a quality product at this price, since so many other LOTR games cost double. This makes a great, afforable gift for any Lord of the Rings fan!
