Q: Does the mats have any chemical or any smell?

I just received these in the hunter green color. There was a rather strong smell at first but by the following day the smell was gone. I really like the mats, even my husband who is smell sensitive didn't complain.

Q: Do mats easily stain or bleed out onto freshly waxed & buffed vinyl flooring?

They do not bleed at all nor do they stain the floor in any way. 1 of our 2 sets however, decided to fade which could be the result of a manufacturing defect. But, for your purposes they don't leave anything on the floors

Q: I see you can wipe these down, but are they safe for a washing machine? Maybe on a gentle cycle? Thanks!

Dear Customer, In order to prolong its service life, please don't put it in a washing machine.You could wipe with a damp cloth.

Q: If you spill water on it when washing dishes is the mat slick?

No the mat doesn’t get sticky the water sits on top of the mat all you have to do is get a towel and dry.
