Very nice product, sturdy yet attractive. Unfortunately I wanted it to use in my car and it didn't work. I couldn't get a signal. If you just wanted a neat, portable radio, you couldn't go wrong.

This radio is the sort of thing you'd take down the shed or anywhere you'd like to catch a favourite program whilst you multi-task. It takes a couple of standard AA batters and the compact enough to put into a bag—the telescopic aerial tucks away for tidy storage. The more traditional rotary controls and red LED give the radio uncomplicated functionality. A red LED indicator light helps to confirm a stronger signal reception. But tuning in feels tight. Several signals squeezed into a small space leave little riggle room between different stations. But apart from that, it does what I wanted and comes from a known brand.

It's not expensive and it's not so cheap that the quality suffers.

Bought this to use in the shed and greenhouse. For the price I wasn’t expecting too much but I am really pleasantly surprised. No problem tuning in to my favourite stations straight away and the tone from such a small radio is very good with no hint of tinniness. Time will tell regarding how long it lasts but so far so good.
