One Rehearsal Christmas Plays

This has been a treasure trove of plays for our church over the years. We have not done each play but there are many that we have enjoyed putting on. The parts are very doable by the young students, they are easy sets to assemble and the congregation loves them! We have appreciated their message and all this helps in getting to the real meaning of Christmas. We love how this has created great memories and allowed more people to participate in the Christmas program. One of the best products for a small church with people who do not have much drama experience at all but who want to provide a play for their church.

I'm happy to have found this-some cute, easy skits. It does take a few practices, but our church seemed to enjoy it just as much as our 40 min plays that takes months to prepare. So less time for all involved-will probably use it again!

This is perfect for my smaller children. I can guarantee you will need more than one practice unless you just let them read it. We are doing the Wild, Wild, West Christmas play and I just know it is going to be a hit. I am very happy my friend recommended this book.

I gave this 3 stars for the ideas and simplicity they're aiming for, however there's no way even a few short rehearsals would cut it for the really good ones. I'm going to have to rip them apart to make them work (luckily I'm a theater person and like to write). The endings all lack and need help! Mary and Joseph are in almost everyone and I was hoping for some more modern twists with biblical takes. Also each one calls for a lot of singing so don't count on this if you don't have a strong group or the time to work on it.

Easy to use

Nice simple plays...so helpful..just did one on Christmas eve...so this is a good helpful resource....I don't know about the one rehersal part though, I acomplished mine in 4 1+ hour rehersals. Maybe 1 "5 hour" rehersal?! But overall..I would recommend this resource for a busy Sunday school teacher trying to pull off a Christmas play!!

This book has some really cute plays. As a small church it would take everyone in some to do the play. But praying we will grow abs get to do them all over time. But thankfully they are easy to make work.
