KJV Concord Wide Margin Reference Bible, Black Edge-lined Goatskin Leather, KJ766:XME

This Bible is such a blessing in so many ways. First and foremost it is the Word of God, the text is so clear and crisp which in turn makes reading a joy. The text is not faded and most of the cross references are accurate and useful. The margins are very generous and the paper quality is legendary with regards to anti-bleed through. (I use a Sakura Pigma Micron pen, 005 black) The index to notes section has each page headed with a letter from the alphabet and is extremely useful to log different subjects and references to that subject. The lined notebook paper in the back will in doubt come in very handy. The goatskin cover is very soft and of obvious high quality. This is a Bible that was well thought out and designed to aid in diligent study of the Word of God.While studying the book of Daniel I noticed small holes in the bottom margin of page 883. Knowing that Cambridge Bibles come with a lifetime warranty, I called Amazon and they were extremely understanding and immediately sent out a perfect replacement copy. I am not a huge KJV fan,but this particular Bible is the best made of any I have ever purchased.ProsIt is Smyth Sewn so it will be a lifetime tool. The pages will not fall out in future years. It has great Bible paper that is opaque with little or no bleed through of text or my own written notes. I would still use .005 Micron acid free pen that you can find at scrap book stores. The pens will not bleed through, they write dark, and they will not deteriorate the paper since they are acide free. The goatskin cover is absolutely worth the extra dollars. It is supple beyond belief and is the finest I have found including those made by Allan's. Buy the goatskin please, the other leathers offered cannot even come close. The margins are wide on both sides of the double column text. The print of the Bible is very bold. A little small but appears much larger because it is bold.ConsNone. If you like the KJV and this version is the main version you use this is a MUST BUY FOR YOU.

I love everything about this Bible. The weight, the smell, the feel, the look, the font, the blackness of the font, the art-gilding, the two black ribbons, and last but most certainly not least, the wide-margins. For me, these luxurious margins provide the word of God its much deserved and reverent room-to-breathe on the page. I don't think I will be able to write in it. We shall see.

This Bible was my second choice. I was going to get a RL Allen 5wm but the day I had the money to order it, they were out of stock. So I went with the Cambridge, and was blown away by the quality as I took it out of the box. I own a Local Church Bible, and Common mans, but this was my first high dollar Bible purchase and I got more than what I expected. The paper is great for notes, no bleed through or ghosting, the leather grain is great, and cover is flexible, tons of line paper in the back for notes. I can't say enough about it. If you are considering this Bible you will not be disappointed. I will be buying more Cambridge Bibles in the future.

This is the most impressive wide margin Bible available in the King James Version. I also own a Church Bible Publishers Note Taker’s Bible and while it is good quality, it doesn’t have margins around the entire text. The back of the Cambridge Wide Margin Bible has a unique, top notch organizational system for A-Z personal notes + many lined blank pages. Great Bible to hand down to children! One reviewer (one-star) said the Bible is glued not sewn which isn’t the case. This is a top quality Bible in every regard. One caveat - if you’re buying as a gift, check carefully for any “manufacturing” imperfections which are rare I’m sure. Check out YouTube videos for an inside peek. Amazing note taking Bible!!

From wide margins to lined blank pages at the back, this bible offers every student of the Word an excellent opportunity to immerse themselves in the Scriptures. 26 blank pages each with a letter from the alephbet to organize your thoughts however you decide. The type is smaller but dark enough for easy readability; The paper: thicker than most but still recommend pigma .005; no red-letter, so if you depend on this for your studies this is a deal breaker;This is my first quality study bible I still own a rather tattered life application study bible, and I love this new bible. Athough the font size is small, the print is pretty dark.The leather is beautiful. Smith sewn. Wide Margin which is good for notes.

Adequately wide margins, VERY readable font/type face and LITERALLY a place for every note -- a blank page for each letter of the alphabet, as well as OVER 60 2-column blue line pages -- at the back, just before the very well done maps. Goatskin cover very flexible, but sturdy, and 2 place-holder ribbons. Not "red letter" edition, but the publishers don't always get that right anyway.
