Practice Makes Perfect Italian Sentence Builder 2nd Edition

Builds vocab while exercising your grammar muscles in a way very few can muster. I love that you can print out sections to practice multiple times in a row to perfect your technique.

I find this book very helpful in putting together sentences in Italian.

A good review

The Kindle edition is better... automated links to the other parts of the book for quick reviews. Better than my post-it markers.

Good book

I don't mean to give this book such a low rating - it's the Kindle edition that I have a gripe with. There are certain examples of phrases within the book that appear so small they are almost unreadable. No amount of adjusting the text makes them larger, either. It renders the lesson useless unless you carry a magnifying glass to see the examples. I'm sorry that I didn't just buy the book.

All of the grammatical examples in this Kindle edition were fixed images and so come up TOO SMALL to really read easily; the prose text and the exercises are in regular text that can be altered in size. This Kindle version seems much shorter than this workbook series is in soft covers, so it is basically a run through some simple rules with tiny examples and many fewer exercises. Haven't tried to skip back-and-forth to the answer key in the back--which would involve a search for a location (whereas some kind of hyperlink or footnoting system would be better).

It is a great exercise book to practise your Italian, both grammar and vocabulary.

As a grammar book I found this book a very useful learning tool. However, manipulating the Kindle in order to check the answers to the questions was laborious. If only a Kindle could operate a Windows system where the flick of a button could take us backwards and forwards from question and answer. Of course this is not important for reading a novel, but for "learning" books it would be superb.

An excellent book in an excellent series. I would recommend this book to fellow students of Italian. It is thorough, interesting and explains those parts of Italian that you thought you knew but didn't really until you read this book.

These books provide a valuable resource whilst our Italian course is in recess. Hopefully we will be ahead of the game when we eventually recommences
