Royal & LangnickelMini Artist Sketching Set, 12 Pieces

I have a smalls sketchbook that I carry on the go to sketch, so I did not use the included sketchpad in this set. However, the small pencils and tote are wonderful. I've put things other than the pencils in the set in the tote (like small colored pencils and pens) and now I don't have to worry about my sketching kit bouncing around in my purse and not being able to find drawing implements.The mannequin keychain is more of a novelty than anything else. I keep it on my car keys just as a neat collectible, but the proportions really aren't that usable for actually drawing people with correct proportions. With that being said, I think most people would probably use it more as novelty than as an actual drawing tool.

This item was purchased as a novelty, "stocking stuffer" type gift for one of my daughter's band mates. She absolutely adored it! The tiny, included bag easily fits all of the supplies in the kit, and the pencils are actually decent quality. The figure is, of course, not as fully articulated and flexible as a full model would be, but it's a novelty item - a key ring. It's not intended for use in anatomy study. All in all, the kit was an appreciated gift and appropriately thoughtful for a young artist.

My daughter wanted a mini-art set for Christmas, and this was all I could find that was truly "mini." The carry case is paintable (altho we haven't done that yet), and the mini-figure is cute. An artist wouldn't be impressed, but nice set for kids.

Why I choose this rating was because my little artist loves to draw all the time so I figure this was great for road trips and it work great for that. I really like that it had a bag that would hold everything. I would recommend this product to anyone with older kids that love to draw but not for younger kids the small pieces my be a bad ideal

The anatomy figure is my only issue. As the main desire for this product, better proportion is needed. I realize it is a novelty... but still, come on! Novelty flash cards don't give the wrong answer!!

I thought I would buy this for 5 year old. The key chain is cute but rathe useless. Pencils were so small. But I got great price but note that this is very small.

Bought this as a gift for someone more artistic than me and haven't given it yet. But I love it. Very cute and small, carry in your bag for upgraded doodling.

Good value for money. Bought as a "paper" present for first wedding anniversary. Definitely novelty factor but still quality products.
