It was very easy to install. Fit like a glove. No trimming whatsoever ever.

This wasn't what I needed, although it was nice quality and it was close to what I needed, but it was too wide for my refrigerator. I sent it back.

Solidl Built, but didn't fit correctly
Once instlled, it functioned and looked just like the original product the fridge came with. I have a Samsung RFG297AARS which is/was listed in the description on Amazon when I bought this. The material seems to be the same as the original, pretty thick and rigid plastic, so no issues there. However, the ridges that fit and hold the piece intot eh fridge were not correct. I had to take a hand saw and carefully cut the ridges to align with the holes on the fridge door. Had it not been for that, easy 5-star.

Great product but I purchased the wrong item
Great product but I purchased the wrong item. Purchased for the left door instead of the right. It was the correct part for the left door but didn't fit the right since that is a different size. Have ordered the correct part and will return this item.
